Working at more than one business

Some people work at more than one business on ResNeo, such as a stylist who rents a chair at two salons. Where ResNeo offers this, you keep one login for all of them.

The one big idea: each business is separate. Your login opens them all, but each one keeps its own clients, bookings, team and settings, and you can have a different role at each.

Joining another business

1. The business invites you from Settings, then Staff. You get an email saying they have invited you to join their team.
2. Sign in to ResNeo as you usually do. You keep your password.
3. Choose Join on the invitation. It shows on the Choose a site page and in the menu under Switch site.

If you don't want to join, choose Decline. They'll need to invite you again if you change your mind.

If ResNeo says Before you join another business, choose your own password, your current password was set by a business admin rather than by you. Choose Choose a password, set your own, then join.

Choosing where to go

When you sign in on the web and work at more than one business, ResNeo asks you to choose where to go. It remembers your choice on that browser.

To switch later, open the menu, then Switch site, and choose the business. The page reloads into that business.

If you run two or more of them as the owner or an admin, Switch site also offers Sites, and the same Sites link sits in the sidebar under My account. It opens a page with each one's bookings and figures side by side, under All sites. See The Sites page and All sites.

If you switch in one tab, any other tab still open on the old business shows You switched site in another tab. Reload this page. Choose Reload before carrying on there.

What stays separate

Each business keeps its own:

• clients, services and stock;
• gift vouchers, memberships and loyalty;
• payouts, plan and text message allowance;
• booking page;
• your role and what you can do there.

Nobody at one business can see that you work at the other, or anything about it.

Common problems & fixes
