Adding a site

Open a second business on ResNeo with the same login: who can add a site, the form, paying at checkout, setting the new site up, and how each site is billed.

Adding a site

If you open a second salon, studio or clinic, you can add it to ResNeo as a new site. You keep one login and switch between your sites from the menu.

The one big idea: each site is its own business in ResNeo, with its own clients, booking page, payouts and plan. It starts on a paid plan straight away, with no free trial.

Before you start

  • Only the owner can add a site. Admins cannot, even with Billing, payouts and admins.
  • Use your dashboard on the web. In the ResNeo app, the site screen says Add a site from your ResNeo dashboard on the web.
  • ResNeo is opening this to businesses gradually. If you don't see Add a site, it isn't available for your business yet.
  • Start from a site you own whose billing is up to date. If the site you are on has a payment problem, the Add a site page says so instead of showing the form. See "If billing is behind", below.
  • Have a payment card ready. You pay for the new site's first month at checkout.

Add a site, step by step

  1. Sign in to your ResNeo dashboard on the web.
  2. At the bottom of the sidebar, under your name and email, click Sites, then Add a site at the top of the page. Or click Switch site, then Add a site. On a phone, open the menu first.
  3. Fill in the form:
    • Site name: the name your clients will see.
    • Business type: what kind of business it is.
    • Plan: Appointments Light (1 bookable calendar), Appointments Plus (up to 5) or Appointments Pro (unlimited). Each card shows its monthly price and what it includes. It starts on Appointments Plus. Underneath, the form says You pay for the first month at checkout. There is no free trial.
    • Address: Address line 1, Town or city and Postcode are needed. Address line 2 and Country are optional.
  4. Have a promotion code from ResNeo? The form reminds you: Have a promotion code? Add it at checkout.
  5. Click Continue to payment. Stripe's secure checkout opens.
  6. Enter your promotion code if you have one, then your card details, and pay.

Changed your mind? Leave the checkout page. Nothing is created, you are not charged, and you come back to the Sites page. If you start again, only the newest checkout page works.

After you pay

ResNeo creates the new site and opens it in your browser, ready to set up:

  1. You land on Choose your starting booking models, with the note [your new site] is ready. Let's set it up. Pick what the site offers, such as Appointments or Classes, then click Continue to onboarding.
  2. Work through the setup steps, as you did for your first site: your business details, hours, calendars and services.
  3. Connect this site's own Stripe account in the Payments (Stripe) step, so its clients' payments reach the right bank account. You can also do it later under Settings, then Payments. See Connect Stripe to take payments.
  4. Invite your team under Settings, then Staff. People who already work at your other site keep their one login and choose Join. See Working at more than one business.

The new site starts with your login email as its business email. To change it, open Settings, then Profile.

To go back to your other site, click Switch site in the sidebar and choose it.

How each site is billed

Each site is billed separately, with its own plan, invoices and payment card. Its text message allowance is its own too.

To see or change a site's plan, open the Sites page and click Plan and billing on that site's row, or switch to the site and open Settings, then Plan. See Managing your plan and billing.

If billing is behind

You can't add a site from a site whose payment has failed, or whose subscription has ended. The Add a site page then shows a notice instead of the form:

  • After a failed payment: You can't add a site while the billing for [your site] is past due. Update the payment method under Settings, then Plan, and try again.
  • After the subscription has ended: You can't add a site while the subscription for [your site] has ended. Resubscribe under Settings, then Plan, and try again.

What to do:

  • Click Go to Plan to fix the billing for the site you're on.
  • If you own another site whose billing is up to date, the notice says you can add the site from there, and offers See your other sites. It opens the Sites page: click Switch on that site, then add the new site from it.
