Your free ResNeo marketplace listing

The ResNeo marketplace at resneo.com/book is a free directory where customers find local businesses that use ResNeo and book with them online. Every business on ResNeo is listed there automatically once guests can book, and there is no fee or commission on bookings made through it.

The one big idea: the marketplace sends customers to your normal booking page. Bookings land in your diary exactly as they do today. You do not need to set anything up, and you can switch it off at any time.

What customers see

Customers can search by business name, town or the first half of a postcode (like BT1), and browse by type of business, for example Hair salons or Hair salons in Belfast. Each business has a card showing:

• your cover photo and logo
• your business name, your main category and your town
• the start of your About text from your booking page
• what can be booked, such as Appointments or Classes, and Comes to you or Online if you offer those
• a starting price, such as From £25, taken from your lowest-priced service

Your card never shows your street address. Clicking it opens your booking page.

Check your card

1. Open Settings and choose the Booking Page tab.
2. Scroll to ResNeo marketplace.
3. Under Your card you see your card exactly as customers do.

At the top it says Showing on the marketplace when you are listed, or Not showing yet with a list of what is missing. Each item has a Go there link.

Why you might not be showing

You appear once all of these are true:

1. You have a cover photo or a logo. Add them on the Booking Page tab.
2. Your business address includes your town. Add it on the Profile tab.
3. You have at least one service, class, event or resource guests can book online.
4. Your plan is active and you have finished setting up your account.

Table bookings are not listed on the marketplace.

If you run your appointments through a venue collective, your appointments are listed once, on the collective's card, using the host venue's photos, About text and categories.

Choose your categories

We list you under the categories that best match your services. The first time you open the card you may see We have listed you under Hair salons. Is that right?

• Click Yes, that is right to keep them.
• Click Change to choose your own. Tick up to three under Your categories. The first one you tick is your main category, marked Main, and it is the one shown on your card. Click Make main on another to swap. Then click Save categories.

Customers browsing any of your categories will find you.

Make your card stand out

• Add an About text on the Booking Page tab. Without one, your card shows a plain line such as "Book hair appointments online with Studio Nine in Belfast."
• Add a cover photo. Cards with a cover photo and an About text are shown first.

The order of cards changes every day, so no business is always at the top. Nobody can pay to be placed higher.

Switch your listing off

1. Open Settings, choose Booking Page and scroll to ResNeo marketplace.
2. Turn off Show my business on the ResNeo marketplace.

Your card comes off the marketplace straight away and the status changes to Switched off. Your booking page keeps working as normal. Turn the switch back on whenever you like.

Only an admin can change the listing. Other team members can see the card but not change it.
