The short answer

How much does ResNeo cost?

ResNeo costs £20 a month on Appointments Light, £49 on Plus or £99 on Pro. Every plan has the same features and unlimited team logins, with a 14-day free trial and no booking commission, setup fee or contract. The plans differ in bookable calendars (1, up to 5, or unlimited), texts included each month (100, 250 or 500) and phone support. On top, Stripe charges its card fees when clients pay by card, and each extra text segment is 6p.

What is the difference between Light, Plus and Pro?

Only three things differ: bookable calendars (1, up to 5 or unlimited), texts included each month (100, 250 or 500), and phone support (Plus and Pro).

On all three: the same features, unlimited team logins, no booking commission, free linking with other businesses, a 14-day free trial and 6p per extra text segment.

Which plan do I need, and what would I pay?

Count the people who take bookings in your own business. Here is what six typical businesses pay each month, counting each text as one segment.

  • On your own, sending about 90 texts a monthPlan: Light£20 Fits in the 100 texts included.
  • On your own, sending about 150 texts a monthPlan: Light£23 £20, plus 50 extra texts at 6p.
  • A salon: the owner and 2 employed stylists, plus 2 chair renters who run their own booksPlan: Plus, and Light for each renter£49 for the salon, using 3 of its 5 calendars. Each renter pays £20 and uses their own texts. Linking is free.
  • A salon with 4 people taking bookings, sending about 350 texts a monthPlan: Plus£55 £49, plus 100 extra texts at 6p. One calendar spare.
  • A one-room clinic with one practitionerPlan: Light£20 while you only see clients. A room you also hire out by the hour needs a calendar of its own, which means Plus: on Light it would block your own appointment times while it is open.
  • 7 people taking bookingsPlan: Pro£99 No calendar limit.

Plus Stripe’s fee whenever a client pays by card: 35p on a £10 deposit paid online with a standard UK card.

Never move up a plan just for texts

Moving from Light to Plus costs £29 more a month for 150 more texts, which you could send on Light for £9. Move up when you need more calendars.

Renters working as calendars on the salon’s account bring their clients and card payments to the salon, which matters for employment status (HMRC in the UK, Revenue in Ireland). Running a whole building of independents? See co-working salon software.

What counts as a bookable calendar

  • Each active team calendar counts, usually one per person who takes appointments. Logins never count.
  • Rooms and courts do not count, but each sits on a team calendar and blocks it for appointments while open, so two rooms open at once need a calendar each.
  • Calendars you switch off, and a linked business's calendars, do not count.

If you outgrow your plan

Nothing stops working. At your limit, the Add calendar button is replaced by a note about your plan, and every calendar you have keeps working. To change plan, go to Settings, then Plan, and choose Change Appointments plan. Moving up, you pay the difference for the rest of this billing period. Moving down, you get a credit, as long as you have no more active calendars than the smaller plan allows. See managing your plan and billing.

Being switched on gradually

Checkout, a till for the web and the ResNeo app, with gift vouchers, an online shop and a loyalty stamp card: ResNeo is switching this on for businesses gradually. If you would like it, talk to us. The same goes for adding a second site under one login.

Does ResNeo take a cut of card payments?

No. When a client pays a deposit, pays in full or is charged a no-show fee, the money goes to your own Stripe account and pays out to your bank. ResNeo does not hold booking money. We never add a booking fee to your client’s bill.

Stripe charges its own fees, which go to Stripe. On 6 November 2026 its UK pricing page listed:

  • 1.5% + 20p for a standard UK card online
  • 2.5% + 20p for a card issued in the EEA, Ireland included
  • 1.4% + 10p for a card taken in person, plus 10p for each Tap to Pay payment
  • £20 when a client disputes a payment with their bank

Premium and other international cards cost more. If you refund a payment, such as a deposit for a client who cancelled in time, Stripe keeps its original fee. Cash, and payments on your own card machine that you record in ResNeo, cost nothing in ResNeo. Your card machine provider charges its own fees.

Payments go directly to your connected payment account. ResNeo does not hold booking money.

Are there any other fees?

Only if you use them. Here is each one, who it goes to, and when.

Texts beyond your monthly allowance

Each text segment beyond your allowance costs 6p on your next invoice, and your texts keep sending. Your allowance counts segments, not messages: a segment is up to 160 characters, or 70 once a message has an emoji or an accented letter. Emails cost nothing. A new business starts with confirmations and reminders by email only. On Plus and Pro, deposit and card-detail requests, their reminders and automatic cancellations also go by text to start; on Light, nothing goes by text until you switch it on. You choose what goes by text under Settings, then Communications.

Card readers, only if you want one

In the ResNeo app, Tap to Pay turns an Android phone, or an iPhone XS or later, into the card reader. On an iPad or an older iPhone you need a Bluetooth card reader, bought separately. See payments in the app.

A second business or location

A second location with its own clients, team and payouts is a separate business with its own plan; see running more than one salon or clinic. Adding a site under one login is being switched on gradually. Where it is on, only the owner can add a site, on the web, and it pays for its first month straight away, with no free trial.

What you never pay

  • Booking commission
  • Booking fees for your clients
  • Setup fees
  • Contracts
  • Per-login or per-staff fees
  • Linking fees
  • Marketplace commission
  • Feature add-ons

Nothing in ResNeo is sold as an extra. If we raise our prices, you get at least 30 days’ written notice and can cancel first.

Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT. If your business is in Ireland, talk to us before you take card payments online: online payments in euros are not switched on yet.

The small print, in plain words

  • While you are on the trial, Settings, then Plan, counts down the days left and shows First charge on the date it ends. If your card cannot be charged when the trial ends, your subscription is paused until you update payment.
  • Light includes email support. Phone support comes with Plus and Pro.
  • If a monthly payment fails, you can’t make changes in ResNeo until you update your card, and on Light your booking page stops taking online bookings. Once a subscription has ended, that happens on every plan.

Can I cancel any time, and keep my data?

Cancel anytime. Your subscription stays active until the end of your current billing period, and you are not charged again after that. If you cancel during your free trial, you pay nothing.

Cancel from Manage Billing on Settings, then Plan, or email us at hello@resneo.com. We do not refund part months, unless the law requires it.

While your account is active, Export your data at the bottom of Reports gives you your appointments, clients and services (and any treatment records) as CSV, Excel or PDF. After you leave, we keep your data for 30 days so you can ask for an export. How to export your data.

How does ResNeo’s price compare with what you pay now?

If you pay commission on new clients now, add last month’s fees to your subscription and compare the total with the plan you need here: on ResNeo the commission line is £0. These pages work it through with real prices:

Moving from another system? The import tool brings clients and booking history across from a spreadsheet or export, with 24 hours to undo. Or send us your export and we’ll move your clients, future bookings and team across for free. Then check everything before you share your new link.

Common questions

ResNeo pricing, answered.

How does ResNeo's free trial work, and do I need a card?

New businesses get a 14-day free trial on any plan. Add your card at checkout. Your subscription is free for 14 days; the first monthly charge is after the trial. Cancel during the trial and you pay nothing. A referral from another ResNeo business adds 30 free days.

Do ResNeo's prices include VAT?

Yes. ResNeo's plan prices include VAT: £20, £49 or £99 a month is the whole plan price. Many booking apps quote their prices before VAT, so add VAT to theirs before you compare.

Is there a free version of ResNeo?

No. ResNeo charges a flat monthly fee instead of commission or booking fees. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, then Light is £20 a month. If an app is free to you now, check what it charges on new clients, card payments and texts.

Does ResNeo take commission on my bookings?

No. ResNeo never takes a cut of a booking or adds a booking fee to your client's bill, including bookings from the ResNeo marketplace. Stripe charges its own fee on card payments.

Do I pay for each team member on ResNeo?

No. Team logins are unlimited on every plan. The plans limit bookable calendars, usually one per person who takes appointments, so a receptionist or manager costs nothing.

Do chair renters each need their own ResNeo plan?

If they run their own business, yes: each renter has their own account and plan, usually Light, and linking with the salon is free. On the salon's account, their clients and card payments would belong to the salon.

Does linking with other businesses cost more?

No. Linking, and sharing one booking page, costs nothing extra on any plan, Light included, and a linked business's calendars never count against yours.

Do I pay extra for the ResNeo app?

No. The iOS and Android apps are included on every plan, and your clients can use the app free with their own ResNeo account.

What if I run out of texts in a busy month?

Your texts keep sending. Each extra text segment costs 6p on your next invoice, far cheaper than moving up a plan for texts alone.
