Salons and clinics with more than one site
Multi-location salon software for your second site.
Opening a second salon, clinic or studio, or already running two? Here are the three ways to run more than one site on ResNeo, what each site keeps to itself, what it costs, and which option you can use today.
- Separate clients and money for each site, if you want them
- Diaries linked when you want
- No booking commission
The short answer
What is multi-location salon software?
Multi-location salon software runs two or more salons, clinics or studios from one system while keeping each site's diary, clients and takings apart. On ResNeo, pick by how the new site works. Same team with an extra room: add calendars to your account. A real branch with its own team and takings: sign it up as its own account and link the two, which any business can do today. Adding a site under one login is being switched on gradually.
Good to know: each site keeps its own client list
A client who books at two sites has a record at each, and the two cannot be merged. One shared client list needs one account (option 1).
Three ways to run a second salon or clinic
It comes down to whether the new site will have its own team, clients and takings, or is really extra room for the people you already have.
1. One account, more calendars
Add the people at the new site as extra calendars on your account. You keep one booking page, one client list, one Stripe account and one set of reports, and each calendar has its own working hours.
The catch is the address. ResNeo still sees one business with one address, and every booking email shows that address with a directions button, so a client booked at the second site is sent directions to the first. Put the place in each calendar’s name, such as “Jess, Westgate”, and tell clients where to go when they book. Every calendar at both sites also counts towards your plan’s limit, and because clients and money are not split by site, this set-up is the hardest to pull apart later.
2. Two linked accounts: open to everyone today
Sign the second site up as its own ResNeo account, then link the two. Each keeps its own diary, booking page, address, clients, payments and plan. Linking lets them work together as closely as you choose:
- See each other's diaries: the other site’s columns show in your calendar, with no client names or contact details, and no changes.
- Manage each other's bookings: adds client contact details and moving or editing existing bookings.
- Work as one team: adds booking and cancelling for each other and each other’s booking reports. Only this level can run one combined booking page across both sites.
The catch is the login. Until Add a site (option 3) is open for your business, one login runs one business, so sign the second account up with a different email address and sign in to each on its own. The same goes for your team: someone already at your first account can’t be invited to the second with the same email. Give them a calendar there and book it through the link. The Link & Break page has more on linking.
3. Add a site: a second business under the same login
Each site is its own business in ResNeo, with its own booking page, address, clients, team, payouts and plan. You keep one login, and Switch site at the foot of the menu moves you between them. Only the owner can add a site, and only from the dashboard on the web.
Not every business has this yet
ResNeo is switching this on for businesses gradually. If there is no Add a site card under Settings, then Plan, it isn’t available for your business yet. If you would like it, talk to us.
Add a site
How two sites look once Add a site reaches you
Until then, two linked accounts (option 2) keep the same things apart, with a login for each.
What each site keeps to itself
- Its own booking page and addressIts own link, and its own address in booking emails.
- Its own clients and servicesA client who visits both has a record at each.
- Its own team and rolesOne person can have a different role at each site.
- Its own Stripe accountPayments go to the site the client booked.
- Its own plan and text allowanceBilled separately, with its own monthly texts.
Which set-up is right for your second site?
Same team with an extra room: option 1. A real branch: option 2, or option 3 once Add a site reaches you. Two owners working together: option 2.

Sites you add can be linked too
A site you add is not linked to your first one automatically. To see both diaries side by side, combine booking reports or share one booking page, link them under Settings, then Linked Accounts, as you would two separate businesses.
Running a satellite clinic one day a week?
Say you are a physio with your own clinic and a room somewhere else every Tuesday. Appointments Light has one calendar, so the simplest set-up is Appointments Plus at £49 a month.
Give yourself a calendar for each place, each with its own hours that never overlap. You keep one client list, and every treatment note sits on one record. Name each calendar after its place, because booking emails show your main address. Two linked Light accounts, or a Light site added to your login, cost £40 a month and send each client the right address, but a client you see in both places then has a record at each.
What changes day to day when you open a second site
Whichever set-up you choose, these change in the first week.
Your diaries
Everyone at the new site needs a calendar there, and someone who works at both has one at each. ResNeo does not stop one person being booked at both sites at once, so keep their hours from overlapping. To see both sites’ diaries in one calendar, link them at See each other's diaries or above: the other site’s columns then show in yours, marked with its name.
Your booking pages
Separate sites each have their own booking page, so give each its own Google Business Profile with that site’s link. Or share one combined page, where clients choose the location and the person. That needs the sites linked at Work as one team both ways, in the same time zone and currency, so a UK site and an Irish site can link their diaries but cannot share a page. When the sites are at different addresses, the page can list both under Our locations.
Your clients
Each site keeps its own client list. A client who books at both has a record at each, and the two cannot be merged or moved. Linked at Manage each other's bookings or above, you see the client’s details on the other site’s bookings, but you can only search the other site’s client list on a shared booking page. Gift vouchers, memberships, class packs and loyalty cards stay with the site that sold them.
Your money
Each separate site connects its own Stripe account in the Payments (Stripe) step, so deposits go to the site the client booked. ResNeo does not hold booking money. On one account with more calendars, both sites share one Stripe account, and splitting takings by site is up to you.
Your team
Each site has its own team. A manager who runs the new site is usually an Admin there, who can’t change the plan, billing or payouts unless the owner switches on Billing, payouts and admins. Team logins are unlimited on every plan. See what each role can do.
Your reports
Reports stay with each site. With sites under one login, the Sites page shows All sites: each site’s Bookings today, New bookings this week and No-shows this week, with a Total. For combined booking reports, link the sites at Work as one team and choose Everyone together in Reports. Takings, sales and voucher reports stay with each site. If a site uses Checkout, All sites also shows its net takings for the week.
Before you sign the lease: VAT and business rates
A site in ResNeo is how the software keeps things apart. It does not make the second salon a separate business for VAT or rates; that depends on who legally owns and runs it. Take advice from an accountant before you commit.
VAT in the UK. HMRC counts a business’s taxable turnover as everything it sells that is not exempt or out of scope. If one business runs both sites, both sites’ sales count towards the registration threshold of £90,000 over the last 12 months. Care by registered health professionals, such as physiotherapists, is VAT exempt when its main purpose is health.
VAT in Ireland. Revenue’s registration threshold is €42,500 for businesses supplying services only.
Business rates in England. A second property can end small business rate relief on your first. Your main property keeps it for 36 months if you took on the second property on or after 27 November 2025 (12 months if before). After that it carries on only if none of your other properties has a rateable value above £2,899 and all of them together are under £20,000 (£28,000 in London).
Elsewhere. Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have their own schemes, which the GOV.UK rate relief guide links to. In Ireland, local authorities collect commercial rates based on Tailte Éireann’s valuations.
What does salon software cost for two salons?
Each separate site or account pays for its own plan, and nothing is added for having more than one. There is no booking commission at any site.
The plans are Appointments Light at £20 a month for one calendar, Appointments Plus at £49 for up to five and Appointments Pro at £99 for unlimited calendars. Some typical sums: one account with both sites as calendars is £49 on Plus if you need five calendars or fewer between them (count two for anyone who works at both), or £99 on Pro. A Plus site and a one-chair Light site is £69. Two Plus sites is £98.
A new ResNeo account starts with a 14-day free trial. A site added with Add a site has no trial: you pay for its first month at checkout, and there is no built-in discount for several sites. If ResNeo has given you a promotion code, add it at checkout. Linking accounts costs nothing, and linked calendars never count against your plan’s limit.
Each plan includes its own texts every month: 100 on Light, 250 on Plus and 500 on Pro. Standard payment provider fees may apply. Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT. If your business is in Ireland, talk to us before you take card payments online: online payments in euros are not switched on yet. Every plan and fee is on the pricing page.
How to add a second site on ResNeo
There are two routes, depending on whether Add a site is open for your business. These are the words you will see on screen.
If you have the Add a site card
- 1
Open Add a site
Sign in as the owner on the web. Open Settings, then the Plan tab, and click Add a site.
- 2
Fill in the form
Type the Site name, choose its Plan and fill in its Address. The form starts on Appointments Plus; pick Light or Pro instead if they fit better.
- 3
Pay for the first month
Click Continue to payment, add a promotion code if you have one, then your card. Leave the checkout instead and nothing is created or charged.
- 4
Set up the new site
On Choose your starting booking models, pick what the site offers and click Continue to onboarding. Add its hours, calendars and services, and connect its own Stripe account in the Payments (Stripe) step.
- 5
Bring in your team
Invite people under Settings, then Staff. Anyone already at your first site keeps their login and chooses Join. Use Switch site to move between the two.
If you link two accounts instead
- 1
Sign the second site up
Sign the new site up as its own ResNeo account, with a different email address from your first. Set up its hours, calendars and services, and connect its own Stripe account.
- 2
Send a link request
From either account, open Settings, then Linked Accounts, and click Link with a venue. Find the other site, then under How closely will you work together? choose a level.
- 3
Choose one booking page or two
At Work as one team the wizard asks Share one booking page? Choose Just link for now to keep two pages, or Also start a collective for one combined page. Then click Send request.
- 4
Accept from the other account
Sign in to the other account and click Review request on the dashboard notice, then Accept, or Accept and join followed by the page’s name for a combined page. Back in the first account, Continue setup lets you choose the page’s services and calendars.
The help centre walks through each step: adding a site, the Sites page and All sites, working at more than one business, linking with another venue and running a combined booking page.
Working with other owners, without merging
Independent owners can link their accounts the same way and stay separate businesses.
Linked at Work as one team, you can book into each other’s diaries and share one combined booking page, under the host’s name or one you choose. Everyone on it sees each other’s bookings, client contact details and booking reports, booked revenue included, but never takings or sales unless you agree a commission split that includes products. Once treatment records are switched on, each business’s admins and anyone with a diary can open the others’ records too. The host chooses the services on the page, and each of you can set your own price, length, buffer and deposit for your own calendars unless the host locks that service. Every booking, payment and client record belongs to the business that was booked. Lending each other a stylist? Commission splits can work out what one owes the other.
If one of you wants out later, a member clicks Leave, which brings their own booking page back, and the host can use End the collective. Each link stays until you click Unlink on it, one per business.

Common questions
Running more than one site, answered.
Can I run two salons from one ResNeo login?
Yes, once ResNeo has switched on Add a site for your business: each site is then its own business, and Switch site moves you between them. It is being switched on gradually, so if you would like it, talk to us. Meanwhile any business can run each site as its own account and link the two, with a login for each.
Is there a free trial or a discount for a second site?
Each separate site pays for its own plan. A site added with Add a site has no free trial: you pay for its first month at checkout. There is no built-in discount for several sites, though you can add a promotion code from ResNeo at checkout. Linking accounts costs nothing extra.
Do my two salons share one client list?
No. Each site keeps its own client list, and a client who books at both has a record at each that cannot be merged. Linked at Manage each other's bookings or above, you see client details on each other's bookings. One client list for both places only comes from running them as one account.
Can a stylist or therapist work at both of my sites?
Yes. Give them a calendar at each site, with hours that never overlap, because ResNeo does not stop one person being booked at both at once. With linked accounts their login stays at one, and they book the other's calendar through the link. With Add a site they keep one login and choose Join at the new site.
Can my two sites share one booking page?
Yes. Link them at Work as one team and start a combined booking page, which can list both under Our locations. Everyone on it sees each other's bookings and client details, and each booking and payment belongs to the site booked. Both need the same time zone and currency, so a UK site and an Irish site cannot share one.
Can I see reports for all my sites together?
Each site keeps its own reports. Owners and admins of two or more sites get All sites on the Sites page, with a Total of a few weekly figures. Linked at Work as one team, Reports adds Everyone together for booking figures. Takings, sales and voucher reports stay with each site.
Can I copy my services and prices to the new site?
There is no copy button. One shortcut: download your services from Export your data at the foot of Reports, then give that file to Set up with AI on the new site's Services page, and check everything it builds before you save. Sites are not linked to each other automatically either.
Who can add a site, and can I do it in the app?
Only the owner, and only from the ResNeo dashboard on the web. Admins can't, even with Billing, payouts and admins switched on. Once you have two sites, you can switch between them in the ResNeo app too, from the More tab.
